Tallahassee Community College's home is Tallahassee, capital of the beautiful State of Florida, or "Sunshine State." Every semester, over 15,000 students of all ages and ethnic backgrounds choose Tallahassee Community College as the next step in their education journey. Many are preparing to transfer to a university (near 75% of A.A. graduates go on to study at state universities in Florida). Others are learning skills they need to move directly into the workforce in diverse fields from health care to business to video game design.
Established in 1966 and accredited by the Southern Association of colleges and schools, TCC is ranked among the Top 10 community colleges in the nation in the number of associate of arts degrees awarded. TCC is a comprehensive community college with an average class size of 25 students offering over 90 academic and career programs in more than 600 different courses. Additionally, through our on-site university partnerships, TCC students have the opportunity to earn a bachelor's degree without ever leaving our campus. TCC's distinguished faculty members are committed to teaching and equipping students with the knowledge necessary to compete in a global market. Technology-driven classrooms and the Learning Commons- a revolutionary learning support center, complement TCC's academic environment.
