The University of Tampa is a private, medium sized comprehensive university offering over 120 majors, minors and pre-professional programs. 9,000 students attend, representing 50 states and 137 countries. Highlights include: an innovative freshmen year program, state-of-the-art facilities, an Honors Program, MBA with 9 concentrations, Entrepreneurship Center, peer tutoring, Writing Center, internship opportunities, faculty directed student research, leadership programs and study abroad. UT students enjoy a combination of academic excellence and personal attention and real world experience. Faculty to student ratio of 1:17, average undergraduate class size of 21, 15 for graduate programs, and all classes are taught by professors and not by student assistants.

Approximately 65% of the full-time undergraduates live on campus. Students choose from over 200 clubs and student organizations and teams and compete in NCAA Division II securing 13 national championships in various sports as well as 53 conference titles. Dining choices include 26 different food venues in five campus locations. Eight campus publications offered, along with student-run on campus television and radio stations. Domestic and international community service experiences, recreational activities and variety of student theatrical, music and dance productions to participate in every semester.

UT continues to rank as one the most affordable private universities in the southeast US with tuition, fees, room and board costing $40,000 annually for undergraduates and roughly $14,000 per year for our Master's programs.

Popular Undergraduate majors include: Business, Sciences, Communication, Nursing, Psychology, Film and Media Arts, Sport Management, Education and Writing. Many more majors and minors offered, including Cybersecurity (NEW!).

In addition to the MBA,EMBA, and PMBA we offer specialized Master's degrees in Nursing, a brand-new state of the art Physician's Assistant program, and several specialized Master's degrees in Business, Education, and Exercise Science.
